The<br \/>\nproduct reacts chemically with the lime that is formed from hydration of<br \/>\ncement and creates salts which, on the one side, block capillary pores<br \/>\nbut on the other side, give concrete hydrophobic properties. An important<br \/>\nquality of Isocret is that, compared to other additives of its category, it does<br \/>\nnot cause reduction of the final resistances of concrete.
